"Longboy" in Tucson,AZ
« on: December 13, 2014, 07:17:39 AM »
Hi fellow engine modelers! I have taken diploma programs at the community college for welding and industrial machine repair 24 yrs ago and in the last 7 yrs been creating my scale gems. My build season is the cool months here in Arizona and I specialize in Stirling and currently been working on my 4th I/C engine. Using just a tabletop Chinese mill & lathe with modest tooling from the same source. No boring head or rotary table and I get by just fine! I consider myself a novice builder....with experience! Have my own unique engine designs and have built others' designs from photos on the internet as well as standard configuration engines. Will be posting my You Tubes here for your enjoyment!   Thanks,   Dave.
Wadda you mean, "It don't run"???

Hi Dave and welcome to the group.  It is amazing what can be done with minimum equipment.
