Bridgeport Power Feed
« on: December 12, 2014, 09:29:21 PM »
Y'all, I am rebuilding my Bridgeport, and am changing the Bridgeport electronic power feed. I have the correct length table screw ordered, as I am changing the feed screws and nuts.

I was thinking of getting a Servo 150, but while I will endure the cost if necessary, I would like to look at lower cost models too. Has anyone bought the 150 in/oz feed from CDCO. this seems to be the lowest cost one, many others range between that one and the Servo.

I would like to know what experience folks have had with the different models. any feedback would be appreciated.

I have Servo's import line (Servo Dynamo) on my BP. X and Z.  1 year now and no issues. Excellent install manual and everything went together perfectly. Ii understand that they are built to Servo's specs, unlike most of the generic imports. The biggest point for me is that Servo provides US tech support and warranty service, parts, etc.
Just a very happy user.
Best,
Stan

Maury: I bought mine from Shars. Have used it over two years with no problems. Was very easy to install. Happy with the quality. I mounted mine a little differently and got rid of the big mounting bracket, made for a cleaner look. Hope this helps. Roger
