Rounding table/tool
« on: August 03, 2012, 11:16:38 PM »
Hi All, Can anyone remember seeing a build log for a hand rotated rounding table? I seem to remember seeing one somewhere, possibly on that forum we escaped from(and still can not log onto). Sort of remember that TEL built one? Any help appreciated. Also looking for details for BOGS flycutter, the links to Madmodder are all there but no photos/drawings. Nathan.

Nathan,

Check out "Rounding-over fixture for small parts" in this forum, posted by Marv. It's no build log, but Marv does show plenty of photos that should allow someone to build one.

His fixture is for those small bits and pieces that always seem to show up needing a bit of rounding on the end. for larger pieces I'd suggest a rotary table.

The one I did was a copy of one posted on HMEM - and very well it works too, for such a simple idea.
