Egalite

It would appear that the administrators have done away with the artificial distinction based on number of posts and given everyone "full member" status.

I think this is great.  Number of posts is a meaningless measure.  How can a hundred "atta-boy" or "welcome aboard" posts be better than one clear "how to do it" post?  Moreover, a large number of our present members are seasoned model engineers and referring to them as "junior members" has always seemed a bit insulting.

Anyway, my thanks to the admins for their egalitarian adjustment.

I am fully in favour of this

you could as is the case of other boards a very experienced person and they are classed as a newbie , its not the best way

this way there is no stigma , and as a side note it will stop ( not that it has happened here ) the prolific poster with "its good " post just to ramp up the post count

well done

Stuart

Marv,

I am with you on this one, but I didn't know how to turn it off, so I changed the first qualification to 'Just starting on journey' as I absolutely loathe the word Newbie.
