Well I'm all set to go - have my coach ticket so failing any disasters twixt here and Norwich I'll see you and the 'rest of the gang' at around twelve.

Two o'clock sounds like a good idea Jo as that canteen area gets very busy around twelve onwards and besides I should be well spent out by then  ;D. If that suits you too Simon and the others then I'm fine with 2 (ish)

I will have to think of something noticeable to wear as this year I am not planning on buying 1/2 ton of castings ;)
Jo

I thought that hat with the stick on top sporting the MEM banner would suffice

Look forward to catching up with everyone

Regards - Ramon

PS I have the drawings ready this time Jo - just need to remember them :old:

:naughty: Mustn't forget those: A nice barstock Steam engine that is just begging to be made  ;D

I might make myself an MEM badge but I suspect that there are not going to be many women fighting their way around the show showing as much interest in the bits and pieces as I will  :mischief:

Don't forget the MEM posters, I might not be able to get any more in the future  :(

Jo - I can bring the posters if you want but they are a bit long to walk around with. I can hang onto them until next year unless you need them before Guildford - they'll be safe enough.

No problem, you can keep them until next year

Or drop them back at Old Warden assuming I manage to get another engine finished by then  :wallbang:

Jo,

Do you want your casting tokens at 10:00 before you go spending?  If you are at front of the queue I will hopefully find you.

Thanks,

Colin

Colin if you find me first thing

After that there will be a period where I go both deaf and blind to all things that are not:

1, Engine Castings,
2, Machine tools,
3, Model Stationary engines

Then it will be lunchtime  :LittleDevil:

A few more plans: I hope to be first in the cue on Thursday at 10 am  :naughty:

If I don't bump into you before hand I will be sitting in the canteen area having lunch just before 12, so please come an join me.

Tug: I assume that you will want to do at least a first round of the show before we sit down for a chin wag over coffee so how is 2pm in the Canteen area?

I will have to think of something noticeable to wear as this year I am not planning on buying 1/2 ton of castings ;)

Canteen upstairs or downstairs?

Canteen upstairs or downstairs?

Being someone who likes breeding moths in my purse my plan was sitting downstairs with some of my own sandwiches but someone offerred to pay for lunch in the restaurant for this poor old lass  :o

I don't want anyone getting any wrong ideas  :hellno: I am still planning on the sandwiches

I'll be there on Thursday too
I have been distracted from my Stuart Major and Twin Victoria as I was trying to finish my Rider Ericsson in time for two exhibitions last weekend. Winterbourne at Birmingham University and the Stirling Engine Society get together at Broomy Hill Waterworks Museum, Hereford. I didn't manage to finish the engine.

It'll be sandwiches for me too Jo so if you're not there at two I'll know some wealthy patron has lured you away   ;D

Two o clock sounds a good time to meet actually - most of us will have had lunch by then surely ?

Tug, I would have thought you guys arriving late would have had your lunch on the coach so that you can raid visit the stands whilst the rest of us are playing Sardines trying to get a seat to have our lunch  ;)

I reserve the right to be swept off my feet by a young handsome gentleman and forced to have lunch with him :embarassed: but in the meantime I am planning to make myself available by having sandwiches  :naughty:

I was thinking coffee at 2pm.

In case anyone wants to say hello tomorrow, at the show, my plan is to wear my purple jacket and I will be sporting an MEM badge  ;).
