2 cylinder OHV 29ccm
« on: September 30, 2014, 08:28:54 PM »
Hello
finaly, after some months, I've decided  to contribute with some photos from my build.
Despite I started this project back in 2006 it is still not fully finished.

So , It was back in 2006 when I was strongly encouraged by my success with very first IC engine- webster, with some modifications.
I was very sure that I want to build another engine, so I took a paper, pencile and got in to sketching..

Inspired by "silver bullet" from Bob Shores I aimed for vertical 2 cylinder with exposed OHV, oil splash lubrication and water cooling.

photos to follow..

Perry, you could have hit the limit for a single post which is 10 MB.  Generally you should reduce picture size to no more than 800 x 600 pixels which is more than enough to show detail on the forum. This will keep you from hitting the overall size limit and also helps out our members with slower connections. These mega-pixel sized photos simply take a lot of time to download and offer no advantage as to picture clarity or detail.

Hi Roger
cylinder head does not have water passages, I was thinking a lot how to do that  but due to lack of skills at that time, I decided to go just with cooled cylinder block.

But as there are only two o-rings as head gasked, I guess that heat transfer from head to block is quite good.

Perry,

I think you can edit your posts and delete the larger photos and replace them with smaller ones, however, I would leave them as is and just post downsized images in your future posts.
