Good picture of the picture taking. He's not using your "run of the mill" Point and Shoot camera is he!

Nice photo set-up. Looking forward to the pics and vid John. All of your pictures were quite amazing on their own though. I do miss your daily updates on this wonderful project.

Hi Jim,
No, his equipment is definitely hardcore. Yesterday he shot the video with a high resolution video camera mounted on a heavy tripod.

Hi Bill.
Here are two of many high resolution RAW photos taken to be edited into the video. Of course, I had to dumb them down so that they could  be seen here. You would not believe the memory each photo takes in its original format. You can count the grains of dust on the floor!

J.L. the photo of the photo shoot illustrates the actual scale and incredible results of your work. Hi res photos with good lighting are very unforgiving of finish defects, couldn't see any in your models.

Very high quality indeed, both the pics and the workmanship.

The only thing that lets it down is it's too clean  ;D

That shaper shot is fab!

Well Somebody obviously used that broom there in the second photo. There is still a bit or swarf on the floor around the shaper though and on the ways of the lathe.  Fabulous photos John, hope we get to see more!!

Thank you all for your very kind comments.
I too am getting anxious to see the video come together.
Here are two more high-res photos brought down to JPEG for display here.

Just totally mind-blowing John. Art and machining skills all together in one package...and having a professional photographer doesn't hurt either, though your pictures were incredible enough on their own.

Thanks for sharing all these.

Hi John,  though I'm enjoying the new pictures, and seeing more of the wonderful diorama, I must just agree with Bill that your own photos throughout the build log have been absolutely superb and a pleasure to see.    Dave
