Unimat 1/4" EMCO E6G drill chuck needs repair
« on: February 27, 2015, 04:05:56 PM »
Gentlemen; I have a 1/4" drill chuck, marked EMCO E6G, for my Unimat SL lathe that is locked-up open tight!  I have tapped it pretty hard in all directions to possibly remove any chips, if that might be the problem.  It is not rusty and I soaked it in kerosene and no luck.  If there is a way to get it apart, I would like to do that too.  Any ideas?  Karl, CM
