American Precision Museum Annual M/E Show
« on: August 21, 2014, 10:36:18 PM »
Just got a notice for The American Precision Museum's Annual Model Engineering Show. October 25-26 in Windsor, Vermont.
I showed last year and enjoyed it. Small show but good showing of engines.
My favorite machine in the museum is the first Bridgeport mill. Has serial # 1.

I plan on being there with the MEM banner.
Anyone joining me?
Best,
Stan

I wish Stan, but a bit far and much too busy a time of year for me. Hope you will take some more great pictures though.  Will the RE be going along for the trip?

The Rider? As you-know-who would say,"Lord willing and the creek don't rise" it will be there.

I will likely be there this year. I skipped the last couple years because they moved it to the Columbus Day weekend and the hotel I usually stayed at went from about $70 to $150. I dislike paying crazy prices. This year they are back to the old dates so I will go.

It is a small show, but it makes a nice weekend away for me so I enjoy it.

I'm going. Chris is going. Ron is going.
Anyone else? Steamer??
I'm taking the MEM banner and I can save spaces.

Stan

I'm looking forward to it.

It is about 3 hours from my doorstep.

I'm also looking forward to grabbing lunch and a few beers from the Harpoon Brewery (5 minutes away from the show).

With the show coming up this weekend, other than Ron, Chris and I, anyone else going? Steamer? Anyone?

I wish I could run up with some of George's Collection, but the auction schedule keeps us close to home.  Hope everyone has a good time and a great show!

All ready to go. Empty flash card. Charged battery. I'll try to post from the motel after the show depending on the bandwidth available. If not, Monday.

Another nice attraction at Windsor, in addition to the Precision Museum, is the Harpoon Brewery a bit north of Windsor.

Harpoon serves a great lunch and the beer could not be fresher.

I'm looking forward to photos from the model show.

Regards,

Chuck
