the speed of response from the MEM site is variable where I live. Sometimes very slow to repsond, other times quick. As I am writing this it is not slow.

  ...very strange Bob....I have been in Adelaide ..Post Code 5043 [approx 30 km from you] since 28th July & we continue to use the standard Telstra  ADSL...........the internet speeds   for Model Engine Maker, Model Boat Mayhem nor Paddleducks have not appeared to have been effected over the past week    .........Derek

  Right now it's flying for me - less than a second to change pages, using either of my Internet connections.  What's concerning is that UK members are reporting it's slow; the site is hosted in the UK...

I had a look at our hosting provider's status site, and at 11:35 UK time this morning they did indicate that their site's been under a DDoS attack since Friday.

So things might be up-and-down while they are trying to sort it out... In fact, getting a preview of this post took 20 seconds...
