great clip. Thanks Marv. at about 2:35 mins is a loco with a linkage system I've not seen before, was it a common usage setup? or just a modellers fancy?

Here is the show we go to every year it's coming up they have a narrow gauge and a full size train running the tracks.

I have a friend that is a lover of all things railroad. I passed this link on to him and he would like to know if I can find out the location for him. He is retired and I suspect he may be looking for an excuse to take a trip sometime in the future. Thanks.

That is a grasshopper locomotive. This was a 1830's design used on the early B&O railroad.

Thanks for the link Dan. Have never seen that style and now wonder why it was droped? Too complicated or not as efficient design? Liked it but I'm known to have wacky ideas too.
