My Napoleonic workshop
« on: August 02, 2014, 10:20:09 PM »
Hi all, I have just relocated my workshop here, Fort Perch Rock in New Brighton, I ran out of space at home, so I managed to get a small room here....
My workshop is on the right, next to the rangefinder tower...

I have since added a pillar drill, and next on the list is a grinder/linisher......

Interesting idea....so do you have other  HSM neighbors there at the fort? How many rooms are they letting out for private  use?

No other neighbours, I don't actually pay any rent, the chap that owns it lets me have the room, and I repair any exhibits that get broken, a sort of two way arrangement.....

Hi folks, it has been a while since I posted, so here is a quick update. I was lucky enough to get hold of a perfect Dore Westbury milling machine last week, and it is now installed in the workshop, as you can see from the photos, my workshop now looks much more lived in, and is my home from home. Today I am awaiting the arrival of UPS with a set of castings for a Robey mill engine from Soulthworth Engines.....
