Glad you got it sorted. I'm in the heat of a full size resoration of a '66 Cyclone GT at the moment, but, I've been plotting and planning on the machining steps for the filer. Kinda OT for this thread, but, have you noticed the filer has a drill rod crank shaft riding in a mild steel bushing? I'm thinking something else should be used for the bushing, I.e. Brass or bronze. If you don't mind, maybe someone else will weigh in on this.

Cletus

Could be a Sintered Iron Bush, much like Oilite sintered bronze but they are a matt grey in colour [ color ?] and the grain structure is somewhat finer ...

My stock is brown, darker than the brass. Cuts in tiny chips rather than curls.

Before this thread dies, does anyone know where I can buy a flat belt, 15 x 560 mm?

Dave,
I'm sorry there aren't more to go around. I'm sure you understand why I grabbed it up, as in use it turns out to be everything imagined and them some, a real joy to use, and a once in a lifetime opportunity.
I guess this is the "59 Ferrari SWB, aluminum body, found in the garage.
It's very compact, heavy, and tight and in really fine condition, with a few chips in the paint, which I will clean as I use it.

Sorry, Honey, Yes I'm going down to the shop again right after dinner!
You're welcome to come over and play with it if you are in the neighborhood. Now, to make some W20 arbors, etc.
Robb

I also have a Aciera F2 so I came across yours.
I have the original manual as paper.
Help get in Aciera Forum  http://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/Aciera/info
I know people who are intresiert to your Aciera F1. Can you send me more info? Pictures and price

Thomas,
Thank you for your generous and kind comments on our F2 machines.
I belong to the Yahoo Aciera group, and also have the paper manuals for the machine.
My F1 is here in the USA of course, so I hope your friends are here also, as it would be prohibitively expensive to ship it back to Switzerland.
I will send a private email to you with pictures and the price.
I speak some Italian if that helps, a little French, and no German.
Your post is a model of how we should congratulate each other upon acquiring a new machine, thank you.
