Folks we have a winner. Congratulations to Frazier AKA fcheslop. Thanks to everybody for playing along and there were some great guesses, matter of fact I'm letting Lou read them to make my Christmas list  >:D. I have been wanting a grinder for awhile now. I looked at the Tormach PSG at Cabin Fever and had it a few more features I'd have bought it, but, kept looking. I looked at used machines and this one. Most of the used ones anywhere near me were either well worn or needed all their accessories, i.e. chuck etc., plus having to buy a VFD. So, with the help of some great guys I know I decided this one would do all I ever would want to do. It is installed and leveled, wheel has been rang, balanced, and dressed. I have ground one piece, but, not having run a grinder in 35 years, I'm in the re-learn mode still. So here what was in the box.

Some assembly required :lolb:

Frazier, feel free to stop in and collect your prize anytime your in the neighborhood  And just because I like all of y'all so much, the same prize can be had by any of you, just come see us now you here ;)

I like it Eric, and the automatic feeds and wet operation are significant features over the Tormach. That looks to be a sizeable magnetic chuck too. Glad the cat is out of the bag now!!

NICE!

Yo Tatah....post a close up of what you're trying to grind.   Perhaps we can help trouble shoot.

That is a very nice surface grinder, wish I had room for something like that in my tiny workshop. Enjoy your new toy.

Very nice Eric.  If I meet someone with an axe to grind, I'll send them to you :Jester:

Seriously, a great tool to have on hand

Cheers,
Phil
