ER Collet holder
« on: January 04, 2021, 11:28:56 PM »
Looking fore a 3/4 -16 screw on ER collet holder for my Sherline Lathe. I found MT1 units but I like the idea of having a feed thru collet holder. I seen them on a Rivertool U-tube vid but can’t locate any for sale.
Option: can I get a 1MT chuck and cut off the tang and thread for 3/4 - 16 ??
Thanks in advance and a HAPPY NEW YEAR  to all!

Another website I belong to recommended this company. I think you need to let them know if you order that it's for a Sherline. Not sure why.

I'm using the one for the Taig lathe and mill. It uses ER16 collets. I had to machine off a bit of a shoulder, but it works great. Pretty much all I use on my Sherline mill and sometimes my Sherline lathe.

PS: The one from Beal Tool looks interesting as well.
