The shop is a disaster area

Thanks for clarifying Stan.  It looks like my shop after I've cleaned up :Jester:

BTW, would you collect some of that "new lathe smell" and bring it out to Cabin Fever next year.  I find it quite an attractive scent

Cheers,
Phil

Why doesn't it say sold to Stan  :headscratch: or being packed for Stan  :)

I hope they are not trying a fast one and going try to sell it to anyone else now that they have your money.. it could take months to get a replacement  :LittleDevil:

How far is it coming Stan...not from the west coast I hope. Am hoping they may have one available from their east coast distribution center(s). Even more exciting once the category changes to "shipped."  !!!

If it comes from Muncy, PA, that's only 4 hours from here. Guess I won't know until it's shipped.
At least the RE engine castings will have more time to age.
My D1-5 backplate for the 3-jaw shipped. The backplate for the 5C collet chuck won't be here for 3 weeks. It's on a ship from the Bison factory in Poland.
I am using the time to do things in the shop that were on the Round Tuit list. Wall mounting the 5C collet rack. Making a proper rack for the QCTP holders. Rearranging the metal stock area so I don't keep buying sizes that I already have.
Best,
Stan

Whilst trying to make a path in my shop for AussieJimG's visit, I was thinking; I can tell you right now you ain't gonna like the stock live center ( mo$$), then for the MT3 you're gonna want a couple of extra kind of live centers, i.e., bull nose, long reach and such (mo$$). Better do a customer service call on the oil, I think it takes near 4qts. Per change. Boy this is fun, if you get overloaded, just send me the Amex # and Bill and I will handle the rest :lolb: :lolb:. BTW how's the boy recouping? He got a sock drawer? :lolb:

I was just looking at my live centers. They are all MT3 so I'm good there.

How many times do I have to drain and refill the oil? Enco has free shipping this month so I'll order some.

Stan

Grizzly communique

Your order will ship today via UPS Freight from our Pennsylvania warehouse.  You should automatically receive a confirmation email with tracking information after the order has shipped.  If you do not receive that email within approximately 48 hours, please let us know and we will be happy to provide you with that information.

Stan,
Are you going to wrestle this machine into your workshop by yourself or do you have riggers to help?

Cheers,

So all you need is my address. I'm not far from the diner.

I bought some stuff from MSC on Monday and they had 25% off over $200.00 or there abouts; then got a free upgrade to overnight shipping. The code was something like MSC25H.
