I've turned off the display of street address. Only City, state, county, region, galaxy, etc. should display even if you put in a street address.
Best,
Stan

I must be doing something wrong, it wouldn't let me add my location. I registered and signed in but have no map access to put my location in. Can anyone help here?

I don't live in the middle of the pond where I positioned the marker ;) but it is within 1/2 mile of the house.

You could have dropped in .

Haha well ditto. The inlaws live there on the Lavender Farm, we visit quite a lot.

A ? though, is Zeeprogrammer spending his time building zeemaps instead of making swarf?

If I had...there would be certain additional restrictions.  ;D

I've apparently screwed up and can't get in. Thought I'd been here before and tried logging in.
Instead I registered with an empty password.
Asked to reset it but the reply was...my password is empty. Duh.
Sent off request to their support.

Stan must have set a password then as he mentioned on page two. I am sure he will let us know what it is. I see that the map title now reflects the forum name as well and he mentioned making a few changes in how things show up, etc. I probably added mine before he did that.

I must be way off.
Why are some of you talking about entering a country?
I got my password reset and can log in...but when I try 'Additions->Add Marker Simple' it asks for a key (password) which I think is the password I use to log in (?), name, and location. Then I get an 'authentication' failure.
There's also a 'description box'.
Am I not on the correct screen? Did I miss a post with instructions?

:cussing: This is one of those technology things that really turn me off. It should not be hard.  :cussing:

Not that I 'need' this...but I was really wanting a 'lilac' marker.  ;D

Oh yeah...crap.

Sorry. The password (key)is mapmem. No need to register or sign in. It asks for the key when you add a marker/pin.
