Thanks for the pics Steve, some good models there. I wonder if we can talk Ramon into scraping that boiler and putting a V12 into his launch just like the one in the photos :LittleDevil:

If anyone gets a chance to take a picture of the compressor setup that feeds the models I would be grateful.

Great pictures of some superb models.
Thanks for taking the time to post them
Especially liked the marine diesel
as for the tyre gauge.....well the only way I could do that is to try and make a very large dummy coin and photo a full size gauge on it!

Thats not fair. I looked at the photo and had no idea what it was.

Sorry Don but I did'nt want to make you wait days for the answer.

I think next year Jerry is going to do a seminar on "micro machining". I will be there!

Jason, I can't speak for NAMES but at cabin fever there were two units similar to the one pictured below out behind the exhibition hall. These were feeding a system of iron pipe air lines which ran along the back side of the rows of exhibitor tables with taps and shut off valves every 3-4 feet or so. Literally hundreds of feet of pipe all set up before the show. There was no air on Friday, but I know the compressors ran all day Saturday and I assume Sunday too until the show closed.

Lots of great pictures Steve!!  The antiques horseless carriage models, the Monitor engine which I saw last year at CF, some terrific locos, and it looks like there was a good crowd there too!!!  Thanks again for taking the time to take and post all the photos!!

The antique tether boats were cool as he!!. I took alot of pictures of the panther pups because I ordered the castings Thursday.

I took pictures right as the national anthem ended, kind of a calm before the storm and then as the crowds started to come thru the door. From 9am to 2pm it was shoulder to shoulder by my table and then it finally settled down a little.

I take it that that 1830's Hayden Geere beam engine was an original sale's man model  8)
