In regards to warding off vampires----
They ward of something much worse than vampires. Vampires just suck your blood. Valves that won't seal can suck out your entire soul. Ask me how I know------

You got that right!  Seems like getting valves to seal should be simple process, but they seem to trip me up every time...

Jo,
What have you for a rotary table for your little beast? As you can see, the Sherline is bulky in the Z dimension. I made an adapter to put the  RT directly in the machine.
Their little chuck is OK if you allow Tommy bars for closing, I hate them.
And, I have metric Tee nuts to Imperial studs in the table slots (I know how you love studs).
Chuck, have you ever looked at them under a loupe? Better take your seasick pills first.

CS I think it would be soothing for you to show us your F3? Yes? With all of the  goodies, please.

Hi Mosey,

I currently have the GHT rotary table same as the one which Don is building one of on his thread, that is 40mm high. But you might recall I am making a copy of the original Sixis rotary table and that is only 15mm high off the table :naughty:

Too late.  :LittleDevil:

The Iron is cast and has had its first machine a few months ago. And should have settled sufficiently for a bit of machining shortly  :pinkelephant:

Thanks Mosey, sorry to start a diversion, but at least it made someone else happy. Lovely machine, much jealousy. Hugh.
