Just wanted to add my thanks to everyone for sharing your experiences and pictures of the show.  Looks like it was a great show!

As has been said, its nice to put a face with some of the names we know!

Zee, Bill, Hugh and Don - glad we could reciprocate, I felt very much the same when we got to see all of you guys.

It was back to the usual routine today but lot's of 'flashbacks' - Sue and I sat in the sun with a cup of tea this afternoon reliving it all. Despite that awful drive down we were even discussing the possibility of next year 

Zee - I hope you realise that all these pics were taken with you firmly in mind - not a 'Knee' in sight  -  and BTW, we'll reserve you a space

If there is any way I can make it some year...I will be there. I've told T many times...if we're anywhere near on our next visit...I'm there.
And the foreign food is the best around.

Thanks again everyone. Getting the pictures and seeing you all is the next best thing to being there.
Makes me wish Cabin Fever wasn't so long away.

I know the UK gets a bad rap on food...but I remember one time I was over on business and took a long walk into an out of the way neighborhood and found a pub. Best chicken I'd ever had.

You should have seen the look on Eric's face on the Saturday morning when I didn't turn up in that skirt again It was a bit wet, and you know how horrible tee shirts go when they get wet

Tug we will have to see if we can find you a better hotel nearer the site and a few nice places to eat 

Next year we will have to see if you can get a visit to model engine heaven

Jo - that's already under consideration    - coming down a day earlier seems to be a very sensible and viable option 

The hotel was fine (and reasonable) but perhaps an alternative place to eat wouldn't go amiss.

I was - and still am - in the throes of some model room improvements before the weekend but now there's this strange desire to create  some ally swarf instead of wood dust  - wonder what's caused that?

Thanks Jason - I missed David at the show but heard from him on Monday - looks like he's going to resurrect the Super Tigre build now that the Eta has come to an end.

I may have missed it, but there does not seem to be any of Elmer's engines.
Is this correct? If so, I have half a mind to bring a slew of mine over there next year.
