How are you snowbirds doing?
« on: March 16, 2014, 09:15:37 PM »
I see it's freezing in Boston, Philly and Allentown and a toasty 25 in Chicago.

Be of good cheer.  Out here in LaLa land we've skipped spring and gone straight to summer.  The photo shows my outdoor (top)/ indoor thermometer.

The beaches are busy.  Check out the Strandcam...

Just thought you would all want to know.

Oh, just to keep it sort of on topic, the picture was taken using the Ikea light.
Regards, Marv

Cozy in the shop, and engine is nearing first start.

Sure we do. We got wives.

That was bad wasn't it? I shouldn't have gone there. That was bad.  :-[

I think I need glasses, or maybe get rid of my beer goggles. I read that as "We got wolves"! Sometimes I think they are more predictable and less dangerous than wives. And I should know, because I have had several wives, but I've never been married... :LittleDevil:

Worked in the shop this afternoon with the big door open; raked and mowed the front yard yesterday. Ah spring is finally here :cartwheel:

Proper snowbirds head south to Florida for the winter :-)

Can't wait to get back to my Taig lathe after 4 months, presumably the frost will be gone by the time we get back up there.

Here's how, Marv

That is exactly the way a lot of snowbirds feel. Thanks for that. :)
