Samantha Bells VFD just went by by.....and just ordered a new one....

Ok Dave so what's gone wrong with it? Have you measured it? Taken the cover off to see if there is something burnt? :stickpoke:

Oh I can assure you the problem was the magic smoke seal let go....won't even turn on.

I had just finishing a short very light facing cut, and had stopped to see how much further I needed to go to clean up the face and it wouldn't turn on....
It's something in the VFD itself.   The controls seem perfect....I have it out, and Don is giving me some things to go "gapokin" at with a meter :stickpoke:....but currently the weather is nice so I'm building a A frame crane first outdoors....  I need to get to Rushforth's frames to make templates for her engine bearer.       8)

New VFD is on order should be here Wednesday....or so.

The new VFD is here.....got a bit of business to take care of early this week but ill get it in   It needs a cabinet fan so I ordered one ....now to put it in

Done and dusted!!!  the new VFD is significantly larger than the old one....but I went into the box
