Kim, congrats my man. That is one sweet little engine. I really enjoyed following along and can't wait for the next adventure. Now I guess I am going to be buying the book.

Hey Whisky, Thanks for following along and for all your help!

I'd recommend the book. Rudy has clear pictures and good explanations for his projects.  And the books are fairly inexpensive - something like $15 or so through Amazon. I have his whole series.

Thanks,
Kim

Kim:

That is a beautiful engine, congratulations. I just returned from some travels and found you'd completed it. Very nice. Thank you for taking the time to post the build. I've greatly enjoyed following along.

Any plans to take it to Gears?

Hugh

Thanks Hugh!
Yes, I plan on going to Gears this year.  It's Sept 27 & 28 this year and they've got their web site up and running now: http://gears.cbnetsolutions.net/default.htm

Are you going to come up for it?  Maybe we should start a MEM thread and see who's coming? :)

At this time I'm planning on attending the GEARS show this year, my friend Max is undecided at this point.

Don't forget the Great Oregon Steam Up this weekend in Brooks OR. My brother and I are heading over for that as well.
