You're right about the rocker covers!  How do you think the script was produced in the model?

If I remember correctly he made special tooling that went on to a long armed 3d pantograph, hence the quorn tool grinder was developed. I think he was in a position to borrow the full size castings, but please don't quote me on that ian c

I was told something similar today, he had a blown engine to take measurements from and it was al manually cut with specially shaped 1/16" cutters.

Thanks Jo for all the photos.  I really enjoyed the first two photos with the turbo jet model (the one with the nose dome).  I really should make an effort and at least come and see one of the shows in the UK.

Thank you Jo for a great set. (of pictures :Lol:) Liked the firefly parts in the frame as it gives an idea of how much work can be in a small engine
