Fuel Tank Carburetor mounting
« on: January 18, 2014, 06:59:45 PM »
This is more about my latest carburetor design.  I've kind of got threads about this carburetor all over the place, but this is a slightly different topic, so I thought I'd start still another thread.  Hope I don't have everyone hopelessly confused...

Here is a video of my latest and probably final carburetor design, this time, mounted on the fuel tank instead of the engine.

Seems to work just fine although I believe it wouldn't hurt to have the carburetor a little closer to the fuel level in the tank.  Perhaps mounting the carb on the side of the tank would be better.  Don't know why this wouldn't work equally as well for other carburetor designs.

By the way, this carburetor doesn't have an air bleed on it.  Just the main needle valve adjustment and the throttle.

So many projects, so little time...
