Also I need to source miniature rivets They only need to be about 1/8 long and a skank about .047 would be great. I saw some .032 shank but then a builder would have to drill 16 .035 holes in stainless steel and we all know how that will go. I have the fan parts made without the rivet holes. Anybody know of 1/8 X .047 's
Did you look at Scale Hardware. They have metric 1.2 mm SS rivets which should be .047". http://www.scalehardware.com/miniature-rivets-c-10Edit wrote too soon. That was for Head size. closest is .039 or .055 for body.
Steve,Any way you can live with a 1/16" body? Microfasteners has 1/16 in aluminum, brass, and copper. They don't show any .047" though unfortunately, but a call to them might turn up something in the smaller size from one of their vendors.Bill
Steve, I agree the drawings are poor. It looks like the copper ones are 1/8" head.Bill
Can''t help much with the tubing...I think Gail has the best option...the local hobby shop if you have one close.Bill
The local hobby shop is probably a bad steer. I checked a couple of full service hobby shops on line and all they have now is silicon so not much chance of the LHS having any. Sorry.Gail in NM
I was refering to the clear tubing used for fuel line and radiator hose. Clear PVC tubing. I am going to include the source in a set of plans so i was hoping for a source with an online catalog.
