... I was taught to drill hole pattern from the mating surfaces so the bottom of the part is facing up. The hole pattern is spot drilled because these need to be accurate. Then the holes drilled....
Sometimes in rereading you just come across a gem. This is so obvious in retrospect but I sure missed it the first time I read through here. Sheer accident too; I was rereading to see just where the pretty black distributer body came from (never did find that) and accidentally stopped on this sentence. Thanks, Steve.Alan
