So I don't suppose they have an age class for drivers over 70?

He broke into the 19's with a 19.7 with Pro4 and a 19.2 with 4x4 mod buggy....big race on the same surface in 3 weeks.    Getting ready while I work...

Well, I could probably drive really well with an on board camera and a straight line flat track disappearing over the horizon.  :whoohoo:

Great day at the 2017 East Coast Champs......he dominated the event setting overall TQ regardless of class with the 4x4 buggy....then out qualifying himself and resetting the overall TQ with his Pro4!!   by 1 second!

Had a bobble during the main that cost him the win...but a good day none the less!

Report to follow.....

Last week end we ran the East Coast Champs race at RC Excitement!  What a blast!   The outdoor track was very challenging and tight.   We  ran two classes,  and we TQ’d in both 4x4 mod buggy and 4x4 SCT.    In Pro4 we won by a good margin.   In 4x4 Mod Buggy, William had a bobble on the first couple of laps that held us up and we spent the race reeling in 1st …but we ran out of time and we had to settle for second.. The Proline Electrons and Suburbs tires were awesome with very little tire wear by just the right mix of traction.   William had a great race and showed some great skill in lots of tight tricky sections.  In the end he had the fastest qualifying time of the event with the Pro4. Great times! Special thanks to our sponsors Xray, RCAmerica, Proline, Hobbywing, TeamScream, MIP and Douglas & Co.

We also set the overall qualifying record with that big old burly 4x4 Short Course!     Beat our 4x4 buggy TQ time by 1 second

Only 2 vehicles to do 13 laps

8-)
