Hi from Indiana
« on: November 09, 2013, 09:12:03 PM »
Hello every one, been viewing for awhile but just getting around to introducing myself. I have 6 engines under my belt and am about to get back to machining after a year or more layoff. Going to start on my first multicylinder engine and was just browsing around.

Welcome John. Hopefully you can post some pictures of those 6 engines. Might feel better getting them out from under your belt too :)  Keep us posted on what you decide to do for #7 too.

Welcome aboard!

Which multi-cylinder engine are you going to build?

Thanks for the welcome.
Tim I'm 50 north of Indy, are you anywhere near?
Steve, I thought about building your v8, but I would like to try something a little smaller, less parts first, I built little Tiny single and like the tiny inline four, but everything I've built so far has been someone else's idea, I just change some cosmetics to my taste. So I am going to try to design my own inline 4, and see where that ends up. Baby steps.....probably slowwww baby steps.  We'll see.

I live in Indy. I grew up on a farm 20 or so miles north of Muncie.

Tiny I.C. was PutPutman's plans
Odds and Ends was Phil Duclos plans
Poppin....I forget, but a good reliable engine, and plans, thanks

Very nice work John...nice collection you have there for sure. One comment on pictures...usually a resolution of 800x600 or so is sufficient and will download much faster and not require scrolling in order to see the whole picture.

Again, welcome to MEM

Bill
