Cabin Fever is just around the corner and I finally got  around to making a few tee shirts via the iron on process. Below are a few pictures. I put the main picture on the back and a smaller version on the front above the left chest pocket. Turned out far better that I thought it would. Two white ones and one gray one. Don, they probably won't be as durable as the ones you ordered but they were cheap enough to do...$9 and chance for each shirt (heavyweight Dickies from Wal-Mart) and $10 for 6 sheets of Avery iron-on transfer paper. Have them in the wash now so we will see if they exit the washer and dryer ok.  If so fine, I'll be a walking ad for MEM at CF. If not, at least I have three new shop shirts :)  The other reason I wanted to do them this way was to duplicate the font which wasn't an option at the online place.

If anyone want to try this I am attaching a jpeg of the reversed image required for printing to the transfer paper. For the smaller chest pocket transfer, I just printed four images on one full sheet of the transfer paper and cut them apart before ironing them on. Sorry for the large file size but reducing it may lose some detail.

Thanks Don,  they survived the washer and dryer but I did notice that on the gray one there is a whitish (or lighter gray) box surrounding the logo now, part of the transfer media I guess but it doesn't look bad. For a first attempt, I am pleased but screen printing would still be the best option, just hard to do in small quantities due to the set up and cost of the screen itself. Do you know what process Vistaprint uses?

No Bill, I don't know what process they use. I ordered two and one was printed crooked and I emailed them. They sent me another without questioning, you can't beat that.

They look great Bill.
And having a pocket is a wonderful thing.

I'll be there Friday afternoon. We should have a sign-in sheet at the table so we can all see who is there. You too, Eric, :lolb: :lolb: :lolb:

Dave, you will likely be there before me then. I am planning on arriving around 10-11 AM on Friday, so save me half a table if you will :)  I'm bringing the B&S, Rider Ericsson, and four little guys. Looking forward to seeing you there.

My truck is loaded, I will be on the road at 6AM Thursday. I will look for all of you, you should be able to find me mostly at the Mach CNC software table or the NEMES tables.

We should have a sign-in sheet at the table so we can all see who is there.

That's a great idea! It'd be great to know who's around so I can track them down.
There's one or two I need a word with.  ;D

I won't be there until noon-ish or slightly later.
I'm still hoping to be around for dinner but can't commit yet.

Don't nobody disappear on me.

I'll be there tomorrow ( thurs) around noon.
Best,
Stan
