Nice models Ausdier.
I am seeing more and more of the virtual engines online.

I don't have the render package, but here is the latest model I have worked on.
It is a work in progress, with the intent of casting this engine one day.

And a 3D pdf.

That looks great Pat.
Good luck with the casting and hope to see a thread started soon.
Cheers.

Just went through your thread.
Lovely models.

I've just started CAD and one thing I like is the ability to work/play even when I can't get into the shop.

Thanks Carl.
Good luck with your CAD as well, hope to see one of your models here soon.
I do most of my CAD work when I am sitting in front of the TV of an evening.
Cheers.

Here is a project some people might want to get off the ground.  :facepalm2: :lolb: :slap:
Some renders and another 3D PDF to have a look around.
Cheers.

Good stuff Ausdier.  I owe you a hearty thanks for doing a virtual cylinder head for my Bonzer engine.  You got me to thinking outside the box and though I didn't use your design exactly it got me over one of the initial hurdles I was facing when I first considered making the Bonza.  Then that led to AussieJimG and well the rest is history.

Your models may be virtual now but they may lead someone to build one

Cheers,
Phil

Thanks a lot for that Phil, I am truly glad that I was able to help in some small way.
Who knows, maybe one day when I get some room I might be able to make something like this for myself.
Cheers and keep up the good work.

Just realised that I hadn't posted this engine.
So this put a bit of a FIRE under me to post it.  :lolb: :hammerbash:

Awesome models. It would be a real challenge to build some of those from metal and wood. I enjoy machining, especially learning new things, but I may be more of a "virtual model" person. I got about halfway through building a small engine that I modeled using TurboCAD 3-D, but as I made parts and assembled it I found how hard it is to hold tolerances and actually get something together and moving smoothly. And I see changes I might like to make, but more easily done on a virtual machine.  ;) :atcomputer:

Thanks a lot Paul.
I hope some day soon when I get a few bigger projects done I might be able to start something myself.

Here is a sterling idea.
A 10-inch Stirling Engine Powered Fan called Moriya.
Designed by Dr. James. R. Senft.
Drawn with Inventor Pro 2012.
Rendered with keyshot 5.
Also a 3D PDF.
