Trout's Stable of Engines

Greetings MEM-folk,

Some members seem to be posting short re-caps of their past builds so I thought I would follow suit. The five engines I have built were done so with the guidance and help from many of the members of this forum. Here's my engine history:

Numero uno:

Numero two-oh:

Numero three-oh:

Numero four-oh:

And the latest one:

And links to some videos for the above:   :Director:

Trout,

You have shown a perfect journey of how a complete stranger to making model engines should progress.

Starting with the basics, and working your way up.

A super collection of engines you have made there, and you are to be congratulated on how you have progressed. :AllHailTheKing:

Muchos gracias for the kind words, Gents.

Andrew, to answer your questions:

1) I haven't made a video of the Upshur yet. I need a roundtuit.
2) The robot is a kit from Parallax. It uses a Basic Stamp 2px24 microcontroller and is fun to write code for.
3) I would never throw away the brass rod....it's brass for heaven's sake!  ^-^

A very fine collection Dennis, you obviously have a natural talent for it.

I remember these engines as well. Who'd forget that bling?

Thanks guys. I'm pretty sure I don't have a natural talent for machining. I've been reading these forums too long to kid myself on that level. I would only say that with these model engines, just a very little amount of extra work or thought can add a lot to the finished product. A small amount of panache can go a long way.
