Greetings MEM-folk,

Some members seem to be posting short re-caps of their past builds so I thought I would follow suit. The five engines I have built were done so with the guidance and help from many of the members of this forum. Here's my engine history:

Andrew, to answer your questions:

1) I haven't made a video of the Upshur yet. I need a roundtuit.
2) The robot is a kit from Parallax. It uses a Basic Stamp 2px24 microcontroller and is fun to write code for.
3) I would never throw away the brass rod....it's brass for heaven's sake!

Thanks guys. I'm pretty sure I don't have a natural talent for machining. I've been reading these forums too long to kid myself on that level. I would only say that with these model engines, just a very little amount of extra work or thought can add a lot to the finished product. A small amount of panache can go a long way.
