I would like to introduce myself...I live in Norridge where we dew different I was in the Army R.E.M.E as a Control equipment technician, Went to germany met a violin maker and did an apprenticeship in that. Returned to UK worked at Summerhill School in Leiston, Mad Viola da Gamba's . Went art school, Made Etching presses ..Joined N.D.S.M.E.E... Have  now retired  , I have been making models off and on all my life and am now about to make the S and Pitt engine, but a lot more detailed thanks to Jo's input and numerous photo's......Regards Robert.

Welcome to the forum Robert. I saw your beam engine on the vid - very nice.  :ThumbsUp: Will be interesting to see someone tackle the casting kit along side Jo's larger version.

when i have worked out how to post photos i shall send lots, Particularly of the bridewell museum engine i made without castings. I had full access to this unusual engine and even managed to remove the steam chest cover plate !!.
