A Welcome Surprise
« on: July 20, 2012, 07:30:54 AM »
Hi to All

First, a big thank you to John for the opportunity to join and become a member of Home Engine Maker.

I can see that a lot of my old friends are already on board. I heard about it from Marv so you can blame him for me being here. With some of the names I am already seeing on here there is going to be a lot of knowledge available to those that are willing to ask and/or listen.

To those that are not familiar with me, I live in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. I am retired and live alone. 4 grand daughter's keep me hopping sometimes and a couple of cats that like to have their necks scratched.

One of the first things that I do will be to add my location to my profile so that everyone will know where I am from. I would encourage every one else to do the same. It makes it so much easier down the road when someone is giving help if they know where you live.

Cheers  :)

Don

Edit
When entering your location in your profile there is a line called
Personal Text . That is where you put your location as well as several lines down where it says Location. The one show up on the screen and the other show up in your members profile.

Thanks

Don

Welcome aboard Don  :)
Building an engine takes Patience, Planning, Preparation and Machining.
Procrastination is nearly the same, but it precludes machining.
Thus, an engine will only be built once the procrastination stops and the machining begins!

Hi there Don, I too followed Marv's link to make my way here, seems like another great place to hang out.

Glad to see another "family" member, Don.  That's a good point about our geo location, too.
It sure helps if we know where we are sending suggestions when folks ask for them!

Thanks. Not knowing where someone is from has always been one of my pet peeves. They want to know where the closest Auto Parts Store is and they won't even tell you what country they live in.

Cheers  :)
