How do I oil a Sherline rotary table
« on: June 23, 2013, 06:02:17 PM »
My Sherline ROT has one of those spring loaded ball bearing oil fittings. I'm never sure if I am getting any oil in it. Does anyone have an oiler tube spout design that is meant to work with these?

I hold down the ball bearing with the corner of a small screw driver and apply a drop of oil. Then you can watch as the oil flows into the oiling hole. I usually apply three drops and rotate the table to spread the oil.
