That's outrageous. K will want one, she's always wanted a Bobcat. And to think I thought the splitter was revolutionary!

I don't have a fire here , but one of the locals built his own splitter, it has a 380hp V8 diesel, he splits whole logs into fire wood size in one go, first length wise, then its turned 90*, and choped to length, mainly pine wood.    Ian S C

Whatever you do, don't show that to our resident rednecks.  They'll be putting screws on their monster trucks and attacking the local forests.

Now a big ol cone turned with some big ol 4 pitch threads turned on it and a big ol diesel pickemtruck. Put the cone on the hub and let wood spin around to deadhead on the ground. You could set in the cab, listen to country music, drank a beer, and let the wife jab the wood on the cone. :lolb: seriously google firewood processors, there is some amazing equipment out there. And as a little aside my grandpaw told me during the depression he built a wood trough to put under the wheel of his A Model. He jacked it up just far enough so when he fed walnuts in the trough it would crack the hulls, he would do so many and then clean the trough of the bounty. :old:

Y'alls Redneck,
Eric
