Thanks Kim. I'm using baby oil instead of water. Keeps the pumps lubed and should keep them corrosion free.

Stan that is just awesome buddy, I love it. Did you make the reservoir you self? That engine has been on my list of engines to make. You just added some great mod's to it. I like...........  :praise2:

Thanks! The water tank is home made. 3" brass tube with a piece of brass plate soldered to close one end. The wooden slats are 3/8"x1/4" basswood from the craft store. I beveled the edges to eliminate gaps then attached them to the brass with VXB tape. Drizzled thin CA glue into the joints then sanded. Cherry gel stain. Brass wire banding. I'll post some tank build pix tomorrow.

Best,
Stan

Stan

Very nice - you must be really pleased with this one.  I would love to see the engine pumping when you get the leak sorted.  Thanks again for a superb build log - I expect to make good use of it my attempt to build this engine.

Kind regards

Thanks guys.
The leak is one of those things that I can work on while building the PMR boiler. I've got the pumper sitting at the end of the bench with various packing materials to play with. I expect it will get solved.
Best,
Stan
