Vega Twin completed and running
« on: September 03, 2018, 10:39:54 AM »
I have completed my version of the Vega Twin aero engine. the link below takes you to a video of the engine and shows it running. The drawings and some description of the construction process was published in Model Engineer during the 80's. I had no difficulty in machining the parts. Some of the suggested methods I found can be improved, which I did. Also, the design can be improved upon as mentioned in the video.

Nothing beats the smell of castor and nothing equals the sound of a V twin.

Congratulations, a fine engine
