I made the liners of cast iron in the Hog and thats softer and just honed a bit wit a brakecylinder honer.
Now the liners are made of steelpipe and I see and feel some roughness in them.
They need to be broched or lapped with something.

Begin with the head today, my wife has laying in the flu whole week so
I had a lot of ours in the garage:))
Bore and ream for valveguides exhaust and start with sparkplugholes.

Manage to drill all holes whitout crossing so I'm happy so far^-^

This is looking great. I had missed the last installment, so this brought me up to date. I for one prefer the aesthetics of inline engines over the v configuration.

Looking forward to more.

Made a expanding lappingtool today
It only expand on the middle but I think it worked ok.

A little update.
Have made the crankshaftbearingsupports, that get a long word :naughty:
I have klamped them togheter then boring for crank and cam.
Finaly I put shafts in them to make it true square.
And some pics how it looks.

But I realy want  a DRO to my mill. it would have been much easyer everything.
I shave start thinking about the ignition, if I choose one from ss machine which one would be the best?

He has one called the "Basic single spark CDI". Add the hall sensor and it's 60 bucks. That is what I would use.
