Posters not reading their posts before hitting the send key.

Yup.  Along with folks who can't learn to spell common words they use everyday, e.g. "definately", "verticle" and "ect".

Hee. One of my favorites.

But I don't mind the misspellings, typos, etc.
It's good to get the story in and I like to believe that people improve over time.

...I like to believe that people improve over time.

Ah, what wonderful naïveté.  I was like that once...back before life happened to me.

I like to believe that people improve over time.
From my 14 years experience with high school kids it must take more than one or two years for it to happen. :-)

Repeated use of 'to' instead of 'too'
Any use of 'soo' instead of 'so'

Totally.

How about "It runs good" or "It isn't broke"?

People who won't learn to spell keywords associated with the hobby...

Folks who think Starrett tools are the sine qua non of the industry but can't spell "Starrett" despite the fact that it's printed prominently on every tool they make.

"guage" blocks or steam "guages".  Guage is a small town in Kentucky and has nothing to do with model engineering.

"dimentions" of a workpiece.

"hydrolic" cylinders.

scrapping for scraping and vice versa.  Also planing/planning, shinny/shiny, coarse/course, filed/filled, grove/groove, Stirling/sterling, taping/tapping.
