My Whotsit's arrived
« on: June 29, 2013, 12:44:29 PM »
Whotsit? :

 - a nicely kitted out tool and cutter grinder  :whoohoo: :

Air spindle, collets, grinding stones, drill sharpening attachment and magnetic chuck all included.  Not in the photo is the 1 to 3 phase converter.
It will be a while before I have it in operation; I need to re-arrange the shop quite a bit and lay on the air supply and mount the electrics.
No shop for today; I'm entertaining some guests who traveled about 2000km lugging this lot with them; better make it worth their while - anyway, it's always nice to get a visit from my sister  :)

Kind regards, Arnold

Thanks All  :)

It's a Taiwanese made Falcon / Chevalier FCG 610.  Has a nice feel of quality and much superior finishing compared to my Chinese made mill and mini lathe.

I'll give more feedback on it once it's installed and operational; there's quite a few milling bits lying around that needs sharpening  ;)

Kind regards, Arnold
