Hugh I do hope you finish yours, it went rather well on this one and drilling the holes was pretty easy with my drilling attachment. This was the tool post grinder I converted to a drill attachment. It turn 6000rpm so it makes it easy to drill through. If you don't have one getr one I really enjoy using it.

Ok the attachment is now complete and ready for use  :whoohoo: I have posted photos below of the finish Dividing Attachment. This tool has been an enjoyable venture and I have learned a lot doing it. It will be useful for future projects and some of the tools I will be building. I will probably finsih this year building more tools

This first photo is for you Steve and Vince, Just wanted to show you my setup with my stools.

The final photos of the attachment.

Thanks for looking in Guys and Gals.

Much thanks Dave, Eric and Cris.

Eric
Now you did make the omelet quiet tasty isn't it ,and how did you like our beignets?

On another note I have attached a culaculation sheet to go along with the Dividing Attachment. Its set up with a 60:1 ratio and list all the hole patterns that GHT had it his book. Hope some of you find it helpful.

That looks good Don. And being able to use it to make parts for itself as you went along must have helped you learn some of the possible uses for it

I was a little concerned about the angle that your tailstock is "hanging at" in one of the photo's

Don't know what Eric's on about, but well done. The great thing about GHT's stuff is that not only does it work well, but it looks great. Yours is a very good example of the latter (and, I'm sure, the former). Looks great in Blue Velvet. I remember the movie!
