Dave-

I can't imagine three feet.  We have had some around two feet and they were not fun.  Three has to be hell.  Stay safe Dave.

I grew up in upstate NY. I remember a few big snowstorms and ice storms. Life brought me to E. Tennessee where 1/2" of snow causes a panic. I would gladly change places with anyone facing the big snow... Remember, that which does not kill us, makes us stronger. Hang in there folks. I wish I was there...

3 feet! Yikes - Good luck fellas, good karma to you. We had two 16" snow falls in very short order a couple of years ago, and that was bad enough!

That stinks. Be well.

Chuck-

The reason I hate it anymore are all the people that moved out this way from New York City.  They don't know how to drive in it.  What compounds it is that I live in the mountains.  It gets real interesting, real fast when the idiots are out there.

Bob, that's what it's like down here with 1/2"! I retired from the local school system, and even though the school was closed for the snow, support staff had to be at school on time. Most storm days they waited untill the staff was on campus and then sent us home! I always refused and worked the day. Great to be retired and watch the panic from home!

We have been down graded to 3-5 inches.

Dave-

Hopefully the temps stay low for you so that the snow is light.  It will drift easier, but it wont take trees and powerlines down like when it's wet and heavy.

They are also talking about 30+mph winds gusting to 55+.  If we don't lose power I will be surprised.
