clothes pin clamps

This is an old one but some of you may be unaware of it.

If you use clothes pins to clamp things, the blunt points may prove to be a bit clumsy in some applications.

Disassemble the pin and reassemble the parts upside down and, voila, you have a clamp with nicely tapered points...

The best tricks are sometimes the simplest. I wouldn't have thought of that, but great take on an old idea.
