Easiest is to find someone with turbocad and get them to load it and then store it in Autocad exchange format (dxf) or .dwg format.

I have TurboCAD 17 and can convert if you get stuck

I'm just looking at replacing it with probably ViaCAD as I need/want to go back to doing more 3D stuff

I've toyed with several versions of TC for a number of years - but I'm really just a noob with it.

You can easily import and export drawings in/to those formats; but I beleive that
within the application (that is any drawing opened in TC) is always in TC's native
format.

To export a drawing to a different file format,  just select the file format in the "save as"  dialog. It's right
beneath the box where you enter your desired file name - you should see a drop-down list with a little downward
pointing black triangle - click on the triangle and the full list of formats will appear, and you can choose whatever
suits your needs.

Sorry if I haven't properly understood your question.  There is an "official" IMSI/TurboCad user forum here:

http://forums.turbocad.com/index.php

hope it helps,

Bill

Hi Stew,

Happy to do it for you. There used to be a site called "mediaconvert.com" but I'm not sure it still exists. For someone else to convert, you need a method of transferring large files by email. I use a free service called "Transfer Big Files." The conversion of model space is 100% but paper space converts all sheets to a 1:1 scale. Finally I work in Windows.

Hope this helps

Best Regards
Bob
