Well, depend on it, I'm not going to resolve to get into my ball gown.  Might be something for Zee, but not me.

No. I could not compete with that. I have limited myself to my tutu.  ;D
I did admit before in having worn a belly dancer outfit. But I'd only made runner-up in the Miss Snowflake Contest. (No doubt now referred to as the 'Ms. Snowflake Contest.' Actually, they probably no longer allow contests like that.)

Jo, may I say you look very charming in that gown?

Charming indeed. I am no competition.
And no, you need not fit into it again. If you're like most women I know...a fine wine ages well without having to work at it.

My resolutions...well most of them have to wait until I find out what changes are going to happen at work.
I have the usual certainly...

1) Quit smoking (again). I'd gone for 3 years but a personal tragedy kicked it off again. Stupid.
2) Exercise
3) Listen better
4) Chill out more

Which all fall under the mother of resolutions...stay alive as long as I can per T's request.  :naughty:

As for machining...just to keep at it and get better. I don't want to make it too specific. Then I run the risk of bypassing some shiny thing that could be even more interesting.

Happy New Year everyone.

At least the ball gown would have covered a multitude of sins - with a tutu there could easily be hairy knees  :o

No one will notice the knees.  :naughty:

A new year usually begins with wishes that have some chance of being fulfilled.
You still have time.

So are we going to see the photo

Unfortunately there is no photo of me in my belly dancer outfit. The only pic that exists of that time is a side shot of my head getting my wig brushed. The only recognizable thing is my nose which is sticking out.

As for the possibility of a picture of me and my tutu...here? On this forum? With this bunch? Uh...no.
There would be too many unwelcome visitors.

Just saw your post sco. Well the personality is a close match. After 9 P.M.

Just for a laugh, I know it is not model engines but this is the gown I keep promising myself I must get back into.

As you can see I could once get into it, but the colour seems to have faded, either that or.. no I am sure they did colour film back then.

Sorry I do not intend on sharing it with anything or anyone ;)

Jo

Just what are you doing on the floor Jo? How many glasses of that stuff had you put away? ;)

a real gentleman would not ask why the lady is on the floor tel..............he would just offer her a hand and help her up.  :stir:

Thanks to Marv for providing the perfect adjective to describe the photo.   :praise2:

Now.....................HAPPY NEW YEAR to you and your families.

Galina and I are both limping today due to an overindulgence in Russian sytle dancing last night. At the time I was sure I was 25 but today my Achilles tendon is advising me in no uncertain terms that really I'm another old phart and I should have acted with the decorum as befits a gentleman of my advancing years

Resolution................YES............. don't be a silly old phart next year.

Best Regards
Bob
