« on: November 16, 2020, 02:49:28 PM »
I have made some lathe tool holders.
These were made for 6mm HSS Tool bits

Nicely done. I have been using 6 and 8mm hss blanks for quite a while in slightly different holders. Quick to grind up as they are small, and still strong enough to do a lot of work.

very nice and useful...most of my worn small mill bits finish their career in these holders...
How did you make these sharp engravings ?
I just made a holder for a 4 mm dia hss rod, a boring tool for 3mm holes.

The engraving was made with an older engraving machine.
The copy stencil was first copied and printed out, then glued to linoleum and cut into. From this linoleum stencil a brass stencil in half size was produced.
